approved by the Nevada Real Estate Division on Behalf of the Commission (NRED) 

NAR (not GLVAR/LVR) requires 2.5 hours of Code Ethics training and now, 2.5 hours of coinciding Fair Housing training every 3 years.  The courses are considered to be 3-hour courses each, but are technically 2.5 hours without breaks.  “REALTORS® are required to complete Code of Ethics and Fair Housing / Anti-Bias training upon becoming a member and every 3 years thereafter.” Training may be completed through NAR’s online courses or through another method, such as online or classroom courses via local/state associations or through approved schools such as ours. The cycle we are in right now ends December 31, 2027.

Fitzpatrick Real Estate School has two courses that have been approved for the Code of Ethics training - one by Zoom and one by Internet Video.  Ironically, GLVAR/LVR approves our courses for these requirements on behalf of NAR, but they have been denying schools from making application to get additional courses approved.  As a result, I cannot get more Ethics courses approved, nor Fair Housing.

 

In our Ethics courses that are approved by NAR, we walk you through the process of how to submit your school certificate to NAR to satisfy their requirement.  It is important to note that the one course and certificate is good for BOTH the C.E. credit for the Division AND the NAR Code of Ethics requirement for NAR.
