"Overall, I want to say this was a wonderful experience. In 25 years of taking these courses, I’ve never been as engaged as I was during these 36 hours. Your format is outstanding.

As a side note, for years I renewed with another company. Two years ago, I took a class from them in which a section titled “Broker Management” used an example comparing leadership challenges to those of a slave overseer dealing with “poorly motivated slaves.” After completing the 36 hours, I wrote to the company and received what I felt was a “cover your A**” apology from someone in authority, along with a promise to remove the content.

(That’s why I was genuinely appreciative that you contacted me personally regarding the less-than-perfect feedback I gave in one of my evaluations.)

In regards to the other company to be honest, I felt it showed a serious lack of oversight by many people in that company that such an example ever made it into the course. As a Black man—and more importantly, as a human being—I felt the situation warranted a direct apology from the course author. Maybe that’s just me. I also felt a refund would have been appropriate (I know that may sound petty, lol).

To top it off, two salespeople from that company reached out last month asking if I wanted to sign up for my renewal.

I ended up hearing about your class through a random email, and I’m truly glad it came through. This might be my last renewal, but you can rest assured I will recommend your program to anyone I know who’s up for renewal—without hesitation and with high praise.
